This is a simple and elegant idea I've had in mind for a little while. It seemed like it would suit Hakugin's style nicely, so off we went!
It was surprisingly hard finding some "interesting" looking perfume bottles for Welrod's dressing table, but they must be English, no? One of them is more identifiable than the other, I grant you.
In the background is Floris Bergamotto Di Positano, a refreshing and sunny scent. Closer on the table is Penhaligon's Elisabethan Rose, a gentle blend of rose and hazelnut leaf. Both are of course fantastically long-established perfume makers.
